𝗞𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝘂𝗱𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗜/𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗜!!

Den 3. november åbner vi den danske udgave af den internationale udstillingen DYSTOPI/UTOPI, i Huset-KBHs smukke topetage Xenon. Kunsværkene vil derefter findes i HUSETS opgang og Bastard Cafés terasse.

Extinction Rebellion har udfordret kunstnere til at eksperimentere med nye, positive, ikke dystopiske eller katastrofale måder, at formidle denne krise på. Vi er nødt til at finde en vej ud, og til det formål er vi nødt til at forestille os en bedre verden.

Udstillingen er organiseret af XR Art Milano, hvor den første udgave også fandt sted i oktober 2021 under PreCop26-arrangementet, med deltagelse af 50 internationale kunstnere. I år åbner udstillingen globalt den 22. oktober, og vil blive afholdt samtidig i Milano, Verona, Paris, Abuja, København og Singapore. I København indvies udstillingen den 3. November.

𝗛𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮- 𝗼𝗴 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘁𝘀𝗸𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻?
En ny kommunikation kan finde sted ikke kun ved at forestille sig dystopier, men også ved at fremkalde utopier, positive følelser i stedet for at fremhæve den farlige absurditet i den dominerende fortælling, og gennem at foreslå visioner baseret på en ny fortælling om en indbyrdes forbindelse mellem mennesker og natur.

Til ferniseringen vil vi sætte fokus på lige dette spørgsmål, og inviterer derfor til en facilitered samtale om, hvordan kunst kan bidrage til kampen for klima og biodiversitet. Til vores hjælp får vi kunstnere og fagpersoner, som vil give deres perspektiv på spørgsmålet.

𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗔/𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗔!

On the 3rd of November, we open the Danish edition of the international exhibition DYSTOPIA/UTOPIA, in the beautiful top floor of Huset-KBH. The artworks will thereafter be displayed in the staircas of Huset, and towards the terrace of Bastard Café.

Extinction Rebellion has in this concept challenged artists to experiment with new, positive, not dystopian or catastrophic ways of communicating this crisis. We need to find a way out, and for this we need to imagine a better world.

This exhibition is organised by XR Art Milano, where the first edition also took place during the PreCop26 event in October 2021, with the participation of 50 international artists. This year, the exhibition will be held simultaneously in Milan, Verona, Paris, Abuja, Copenhagen and Singapore from the 22nd of October. In Copenhagen, we open the exhibition on the 3rd of November.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗼-𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀?
A new communication can take place not only by imagining dystopias but also by evoking utopias, positive emotions, using, for example, irony and paradox to highlight the dangerous absurdity of the dominant narrative, and by proposing visions based on a new narrative of interconnection between humans and nature.

For the vernissage, we want to place this question in the center through a facilitated talk about how art can contribute to the battle for the climate and biodiversity. Invited artists and specialists in the area will come to our aid, by sharing their perspective on the matter.
