An appeal to creatives: artists, designers, graphic designers, illustrators, sculptors and any awakened mind concerned about the health of the planet

The

exibition

In 2021, an international art project was launched in Milan with the aim of communicating the seriousness of the eco-climatic crisis in an innovative, incisive and irreverent way.

Artists can participate, using techniques of their choice, with works that demonstrate a communicative and visual exploration of the issue.

The idea of this new edition is to create a global event with contemporary exhibitions in different cities.  The works can be selected, downloaded and printed by anyone who wants to organize an exhibition.
UTOPIA
DISTOPIA

The

concept

While recognising the need to be explicit about the disastrous consequences of the current crisis, we note that communication based solely on the devastating effects can have counterproductive consequences on people, raise psychological barriers, paralyze them in fear, and lead to an attitude of fight and denial.

We need to accompany the Dystopia with an Utopia; the eco-climatic crisis leads us to conceive and develop new imaginaries of different societies that show everyone a path to the better world we all know is possible.

The information overload our brains are subjected to has turned them into impregnable fortresses. Art can be the Trojan horse that overcomes these defenses and penetrates with a message that strikes not only our heads but also our hearts, activating and motivating the generation of new narratives.

This can happen not only by imagining utopias but also by evoking positive emotions, using for example irony and paradox to highlight the absurdity of the dominant narrative.
The project wants to be global,
it wants to appear simultaneously
in different places on the planet
Anyone can curate the exhibition
and be part of the promotion of
this artistic movement
The artists will sign a license that makes the works open-source so that anyone can download and disseminate them
